O'Rourke joined Accor in 2016 and assumed his current role in 2023. In the first quarter of 2025, the group recorded a 4.6% growth in revenue per available room across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific regions, compared to the first quarter of 2024. Management and concession revenue in these regions amounted to $77 million. As of April 2025, the group operates more than 350 hotels in the Middle East, with plans to add more than 140 hotels by 2030.
